<p><b>Education Officer – Religious Education </b></p><p>Permanent Full time. Part time applications will be considered but must be a minimum 2 days per week. </p><p> <b>Location:</b> This position will provide support to the Northern Zone of the Diocese and can be based in Mildura, Swan Hill or at mutually agreed location in the area.       </p><p> In collaboration with School Principals and Religious Education Leaders, this role will provide leadership and support in the understanding and implementation of the Ballarat Diocesan Religious Education curriculum (Awakenings). </p><p> The primary purpose of this role is to assist schools in the enhancement of their Catholic school identity through: </p><ul><li> supporting teachers to improve the Religious Education learning and teaching in schools; </li><li>ensuring the appropriate implementation of the Awakenings Curriculum; </li><li>contribute to the quality and effectiveness of teaching through developing learning plans and pedagogical practices in schools; </li><li>initiating, implementing and monitoring religious education professional learning.</li></ul><p><b>For a confidential discussion about the position contact:</b> </p><p> Michael Trainor, Human Resources Manager (03) 5337 7109 </p><p>Kate Lawry, Senior Education Officer RE (03) 5337 7149</p>
