<p>Responsibilities for this role include:</p><p><b><u>Teaching</u></b></p><ul><li>Coordinate and deliver, with the classroom teachers, the Sustainability and Environmental components of the Victorian Curriculum in an innovative, hands on manner from Foundation to Year 6.</li><li>To plan, in advance, with each unit of teachers the 5 week OASIS program.  </li><li>To promote environmental sustainability practices with our students, staff and parents. </li></ul><p><b><u>Professional Learning</u></b></p><ul><li>With the Principal devise annual professional learning opportunities that are both personally fulfilling, but also align with the Strategic direction of the school. </li></ul><p><b><u>Data Collection</u></b></p><ul><li>To ensure all ResourceSmart Schools data is updated each year.</li></ul><p><b><u>Ongoing actions</u></b></p><ul><li>Reviewing and updating the School Environmental Management Policy (add link).</li><li>Coordinating the annual Tree Planting Day for the school.</li><li>Work with the ResourceSmart Schools Program to ensure our schools 5 Star Rating.</li><li>To ensure our school garden beds and vegetable patch remain in excellent condition.</li></ul><p><b><u>Farm Life</u></b></p><ul><li>To work with the employed Grounds and Farm staff and parent volunteers, in conjunction with the Principal, to ensure our farm is running in a sustainable and safe manner. </li><li>To ensure our cattle, sheep and chickens are well fed and watered throughout the year.</li><li>To develop feeding and watering rosters with our staff and parents over holiday periods.</li></ul><p><b><u>Budgeting</u></b></p><ul><li>Monitor and purchase resources suitable for the running of the OASIS program.</li><li>Oversee, with the Principal, the Farm Budget.</li><li>To apply for grants that align with our environmental sustainability practices and Catholic ethos. </li><li>To ensure all evidence is provided for the acquittal of all grants. </li></ul><p><b><u>Meeting Schedule</u></b></p><ul><li>Meetings will include attending fortnightly staff meetings on a pro rata basis.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
