The ICT Officer works collaboratively with other school staff to provide support and assistance to teachers, students and school leadership in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes.

<p dir="ltr"><strong>PERMANENT FULL-TIME ICT Manager - Admin LEVEL 5 (48 WEEKS PER YEAR) COMMENCING: TERM 4 2020</strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Closing Date: 26th September 2020</strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Description</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We are seeking a full time ICT Manager to join our school admin support team. The ICT Manager works within the non­-teaching area of St Patrick’s Marist College. Major functions of the role reflect the Mission Statement of Service within the School Community. The ICT Manager liaises with CEDP Technology and Information Services team provides effective assistance to teachers and students within the e­ learning environment of the College. St Patrick’s Marist College is a coeducational Catholic high school following in the Marist tradition.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Criteria</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">The successful applicant will have</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Essential Skills:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Support and foster Gospel values and act according to Catholic ethos?</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Support the College goals &amp; vision of improving learning outcomes for all students and promoting a professional and rewarding working life and environment for all staff?</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Minimum Cert IV in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; 2 years of IT Infrastructure experience in managing IT network/Windows Server/Cloud solutions.</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Demonstrate good knowledge of Windows Server/AD/GPO?</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Demonstrate good knowledge of MS Azure AD/Intune and device management?</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Demonstrate good knowledge of Gmail/Google Classroom?</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Demonstrate good knowledge of Cisco Wireless, Call Manager and Cisco network infrastructure and security?</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Demonstrate good knowledge of MacOS and Windows 10</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Have strong verbal and written communication skills, time management skills</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Solution focused problem-solving skills.</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Have a current Working with Children Check?</p> <p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Understanding of the use of technology in Schools</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Exposure to any school management system (Compass) and timetable system (Edval)</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Project management methodologies</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Previous experience in a staff management role</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Relevant Industry Certification (Microsoft/Cisco/Google/AWS)</p> <p dir="ltr">• &nbsp; &nbsp; Demonstrate good knowledge of AV system</p> <p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">• Support the Administrative team of the College and ensure the highest standards of confidentiality and stewardship are maintained?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Ensure effective and efficient administrative practices in ICT are adhered to?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Assist the School Leadership Team in providing service and support to the students and staff with the e­ learning domain within the College and adhere to the relevant policies and practices of both the CEDP and St Patrick’s Marist College?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Coordinate the planning of the schools’ ICT infrastructure, equipment and applications with CEDP in order to meet current, emerging and long-term needs?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Make recommendations and overseeing the maintenance of the schools infrastructure?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Make recommendations regarding school ICT issues, practices and opportunities?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Assist in the developing and review of our ICT policies and procedures including technology rich education and administrative processes?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Oversee technical support including help desk, software upgrades, licensing, backup/recovery, server maintenance procedures and network security?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Liaise and work with the Communications Officer?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Manage and support user needs in various applications including school administration package, timetabling, school reports, library, compass, parent interviews, financial Management &amp; MS Office?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Maintain high capacity wireless networking and remote access for staff and students?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Mentor an ICT Trainee from the Catholic Education Office’s ICT Traineeship program?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Maintain the school ICT asset and warrantee record?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Asset with Business Manager to develop the annual IT budget</p> <p dir="ltr">• Support School functions in setting up visual presentations?</p> <p dir="ltr">• Any other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Principal’s delegate</p>
