<p>Applications are invited from talented Science teachers for the position of full-time Assistant Science Coordinator (1 point) commencing in 2021.</p> <p>Essential criteria for the Assistant Science Coordinator position are:<br /></p> <ul><li>degree with a major in Physics, Biology and/or Chemistry and appropriate teacher education qualification.</li><li>at least five years full time recent secondary teaching experience in Science.</li><li>ability to teach Years 7-12 courses up to and including Physics, Biology and/or Chemistry in Stage 6.</li><li>recent, active substantial professional development in teaching in the area of Science curricula.</li><li>recent interest in or exposure to best practice pedagogy in secondary Science.</li><li>energy and enthusiasm for raising levels of growth, interest and achievement in Science.</li><li>sound and thorough knowledge of NESA curricula in Science and a willingness to build up the same.</li><li>a willingness to lead, administer and contribute to the extensive extra-curricular program the College offers.</li><li>high level of interpersonal leadership skills.</li></ul> <p> </p><p>Applicants are asked to submit their curriculum vitae and append any supporting documentation or letters.
