<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified people for the following position:</p><p><b>Location: Lismore <br />Full Time – 5 Year Contract <br />Commencing: Term 4 October 2020 </b></p><p>Catholic education in the Diocese of Lismore is a long standing provider of school education on the north coast of New South Wales. 46 Catholic primary and secondary schools, operate in all major urban centres and many smaller towns from Tweed Heads to Laurieton. All Catholic schools seek to provide a comprehensive, quality education in a welcoming and secure environment. </p><p>The Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Lismore is calling for applications from suitably qualified </p><p>professionals for the position of Education Officer – Pastoral Care. The Education Officer works with the Pastoral Care Consultant to support schools in the embedding of effective pastoral care practices that have a positive impact on student wellbeing. We are seeking applicants who have high interpersonal skills and reflective practices to work effectively as part of a Pastoral Care team. The successful applicant will have contemporary knowledge in student wellbeing issues and the skills to accompany schools to build effective teacher- student relationships. </p><p>This position supports the north and mid north coast schools of the Diocese of Lismore with the office location to be negotiated. </p>
