<p><b>Our School</b></p><p>St Anthony of Padua Catholic Primary School is situated in Melton South, approximately 35 kilometres west of Melbourne CBD. The school is located in a low-socio economic area with high population growth. Current student numbers are 730, with anticipated numbers for 2021 of 800. St Anthony’s is a diverse community with 53% of all families speaking languages other than English. St Anthony’s is a welcoming and inclusive school with a positive learning culture. </p><p><b>The Role of the School Psychologist</b></p><p>Please refer to the Role Description attached.  This is a part time fixed term position for the 2021 School Year.</p><p><b>Selection Criteria</b></p><p>• Appropriate qualifications as a Psychologist and experience working with children in an educational setting. Must have full-registration and work as an independent practitioner. </p><p>• Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. </p><p>• Excellent communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others and exercise influence in a diversity of contexts. </p><p>• Ability to work independently, to take initiative and a capacity for effective decision-making. </p><p>• A demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise a range of tasks, plan workloads and work to deadlines. </p><p>• Proven ability to be discerning and maintain confidentiality. </p><p>• Ability to have a positive impact on staff morale and wellbeing. </p><p><b>Application Process</b><br /></p><p>St Anthony’s is committed to being a child safe organisation.
