A reputable Pathways education provider located in the heart of Melbourne CBD is currently seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator and Counsellor to join the Wellbeing and Student Experience Team. This is a full-time, ongoing role with a salary range $92k to $107k in line with experience, plus 10.5% super and other benefits.

<p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>The Wellbeing Coordinator and Counsellor reports to the Director Wellbeing &amp; Student Experience. As a member of the Wellbeing, Study Success and Student Experience team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide a high level of support and an enhanced student experience for international Pathway students. </p><p>The position provides direct counselling support (online and face-to-face) and early intervention services for individual students identified as at-risk and/or experiencing or demonstrating mental health issues. The role will also develop and deliver a range of engaging activities and events aimed at awareness raising and promoting students’ mental health, wellbeing and study experience. </p><p><b>About You </b></p><ul><li>A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline and post graduate qualifications in Counselling, Psychotherapy or Psychology and demonstrated experience in dealing with the mental health concerns of diverse international student cohorts. </li><li>Experience working with various mental health presentations including depression, anxiety, trauma, conflict, sexuality issues, domestic violence and serious mental illnesses. </li><li>Demonstrated competency in short-term counselling approaches, including strengths-based, solution focused and trauma informed frameworks. </li><li>Ability to provide professional development that informs and influences the work of others involved in the engagement and wellbeing of the student cohort. </li><li>Ability to generate ideas and lead initiatives that address student wellbeing and engagement both on campus and across various social media platforms. </li><li>Key to your success will be your highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills including the ability to develop strong professional relationships and to liaise effectively with a wide range of people.</li></ul><p>Submit your application <b>(including your resume and a one-page cover letter outlining your suitability for the role)</b> by clicking ‘Apply for Job’. <br /></p>
