Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

<p>This position requires a highly skilled, creative, flexible and enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to providing optimum learning for the students in a variety of contexts. The successful applicant will be able to differentiate the learning to meet the needs of the students. They will also be able to work collaboratively with professional learning teams.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">The successful applicant will:</p> <ol> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: decimal"> <p dir="ltr">Have a sound knowledge and commitment to the Catholic Church's mission and an awareness of its contemporary expression.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: decimal"> <p dir="ltr">To contribute to the life of our faith learning community beyond the classroom.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: decimal"> <p dir="ltr">Have a passion for all sports and be effective in implementing the Physical Education syllabus as well as other KLAs.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: decimal"> <p dir="ltr">Be able to differentiate the learning for all students.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: decimal"> <p dir="ltr">Be able to maintain a safe and positive rapport with students in a supportive environment utilising a variety of strategies.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: decimal"> <p dir="ltr">Have effective interpersonal skills and be prepared to work collaboratively as a team member in Agile Learning Spaces.</p> </li> </ol> <p>Please respond to the above selection criteria in your cover letter.
