Kairos Community College is an independent, non-government school for young people undertaking Years 10 – 12 who need a flexible and supportive approach to achieve their education and training aspirations. Our first college is located in Deception Bay, and although Kairos is an independent entity, it has emerged through the work of Deception Bay Community Youth Programs, that has provided programs and services to young people in Deception Bay since 1994. This successful tradition of work with young people has enabled DBCYP to 'birth' Kairos and provide a strong foundation of values and commitment that forms the heart of the Kairos vision. After success in Deception Bay we have now opened a new campus in Caloundra in 2020.
<p><b>Teacher</b><br /><br />Kairos Community College is seeking a suitably qualified and experience Secondary Teacher to join our team.<br /><br />The successful applicant will be a highly skilled classroom teacher that leads by example. The role requires the applicant to teach a variety of subjects. The successful applicant needs be very efficient at developing relationships with young people whilst upholding key structures within the school. They will have a demonstrated ability to create and maintain a safe learning environment that has high expectations.
