WE ARE SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR HEAD OF PRIMARY, AT OUR ALDINGA CAMPUS, WITH A PRIMARY STUDENT WELLBEING FOCUS ACROSS THE COLLEGE.

<p>Southern Vales Christian College is a co-educational, interdenominational College. We have two campuses; one located in Morphett Vale and the other situated in Aldinga. Each campus enrolls students from Foundation to Year 12. Our Morphett Vale campus has the addition of an Early Learning Centre and we have a Trade Training Centre at Aldinga. </p><p> </p><p>Our College is a Christ centered, child focused environment filled with learning and discovery, deep thinking and understanding, excitement, fun, creativity, music, sport, drama, challenge, celebration, care, friendship, family and encouragement. </p><p> </p><p>Our teaching philosophy is based on the belief that children are capable of thinking deeply and creatively. Be it in classrooms, on the sporting field, on a stage, debating competitions, Chess Club, Apex Fashion Awards, engineering challenges or in Worship Assemblies, they are enthusiastic and determined; they care for each other and they aspire to learn. </p><p> </p><p>THE APPLICANT: </p><ul><li>will be an exceptional educator and leader with a passion for student wellbeing in the Primary across both campuses </li><li>will be able to inspire and guide others </li><li>will have appropriate qualifications, significant leadership experience and a clear commitment to personal and professional growth and development </li><li>will have a genuine interest and commitment to young people and their overall development </li><li>will have a capacity and commitment to nurturing the unique gifts of each individual and a commitment to ongoing professional development that in turn informs best practice </li><li>will have strong project management skills applied to the development and implementation of student’s wellbeing policy, programs and initiatives </li><li>will research, design, develop and implement a range of staff health and wellbeing programs, initiatives and resources to support staff health and wellbeing planning and implementation. </li></ul><p>Student Wellbeing and Leadership’s primary role is to support the Principal in ensuring Southern Vales Christian College offers excellent student wellbeing support and enrichment programs in a faith-centred environment. </p><p> </p><p>To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and attributes: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Suitable tertiary qualifications. Ideally applicants should hold or be studying towards a Postgraduate Award in educational leadership and Wellbeing. </li><li>Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration. </li><li>High-level verbal and interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to undertake complex collaboration, consultation and negotiations. </li><li>Have a commitment to Christian education.
