<p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Primary K-6 Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.</p> <p><span>Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.</span></p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p>The Primary K-6 Diversity Leader will fit the following criteria:</p> <p>- Understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for student needs in order to maximise student learning.<span></span></p> <p>- Experience to facilitate collaborative planning for students who require adjustments to the curriculum.</p> <p>- Knowledge and skills to coordinate and maintain the administrative tasks associated with the role including Personalised Plans, ATSI Personalised Learning Plans, EAL/D Learning Plans and other tasks associated with diverse learning needs students as outlined by the Disability Act and CEDP.</p> <p>- Be skilled in working with and building capacity of class teachers in implementing adjustments developed for children with diverse learning needs.</p> <p>&nbsp;- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement personalised plans that reflect effective learning interventions and adjustments.</p> <p>- Contribute to the development of whole school processes around Personalised Plans to improve student outcomes that align to the CEDP strategic intent.</p> <p>- Ensure processes are established and maintained for the identification of students requiring additional support.</p> <p>- Liaise with Literacy and Numeracy Lead Teachers, Instructional Leader, Counsellor and CEDP Diversity Lead Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs.</p> <p>- Training in CEDP intervention programs would be an advantage - Reading Recovery, L2, R3, TWRI, EMU.</p> <p>Please respond to the above selection criteria in your cover letter.
