<p><b>Selection Requirement and Criteria </b></p><p>The appointment of a Deputy Principal within the Diocese of Sale is a pathway towards principalship. The Deputy Principal must also be deemed suitable to act as Principal in either short- or long-term periods of Principal planned or unplanned leave. The following criteria supports both the progression towards principalship and nomination for suitability as an Acting Principal. </p><p> </p><p><b>Eligibility Requirements </b></p><p>The following eligibility requirements underpin the appointment of a Deputy Principal: </p><p>• Master or Postgraduate qualifications in Education, Leadership, Religious Education or Theology. </p><p>• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school. </p><p>• Full Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration. </p><p>• Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic ethos. </p><p>• Prior leadership experience within an educational setting. </p><p>• Aspiring to Principalship.</p><p> </p><p>Please see attached documents for additional information regarding the position.</p>
