<p><b>Design and Technology Teacher</b></p><p><b>Key responsibilities </b></p><p>• Support Colleagues, and Senior executives in the day to day management of Design and Technology activities. </p><p>• Readily seek professional development and demonstrate a willingness to remain progressive in thinking and technical application </p><p>• Work collaboratively, in multi-year level teams and across disciplines, to achieve common goals </p><p>• Attend and actively contribute to staff and Faculty meetings </p><p>• Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities as required including overnight camps and sporting activities. </p><p><b>Our Ideal Candidate </b></p><p>• Implement scope and sequence of content as directed the Head of Department and Head of Senior School </p><p>• Provide quality teaching and learning within the Department ensuring all students have access to learning that best meets their needs. </p><p>• Participate in collaborative planning and programming to ensure equity across the year/department/Senior School and whole school. </p><p>• Collaborate and with colleagues from other Departments/ Disciplines to ensure learning is cohesive and provides opportunities for interdisciplinary and cross curricular connections. </p><p>• Communicate student progress via academic progress reporting and other feedback mechanisms. </p><p>• Implement across (remove word) grade assessment and reporting ensuring moderation and consistency across grades and stages. </p><p>• Assist in the compilation and interpretation of data from standardised tests and competitions. </p><p>• Contribute to the educational tracking of outcomes and student learning of 7 to 12 continuum&#39;s. </p><p>• Promote the subject through co-curricular subject specific program&#39;s and opportunities. </p><p>• Be able to articulate and model excellent understanding of pedagogy, curriculum and content. </p><p>• Develop and teach differentiated program&#39;s that meet the needs of individual students or groups within the class. </p><p>• Utilise ICT effectively to enhance learner outcomes and share learning. </p><p>• Collect, evaluate and use data resulting from tracking of students in order to enhance future program&#39;s </p><p>• Demonstrate excellent classroom management. </p><p><b>What next? </b></p><p>If you’d like to express interest, send through a full resume and covering letter addressing your interest and suitability to the role to the Head of Senior School, Ms Mouina Ramadan <a href="mailto:mouina.ramadan&#64;bellfield.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">mouina.ramadan&#64;bellfield.nsw.edu.au</a></p><p>Please note that we require you obtain a Working with Children’s Check. </p><p>Bellfield College is committed to providing equal opportunity and supporting our communities by providing opportunities to grow and make a real difference.
