The Payroll function is critical to CEDWW. The Payroll Team Leader (currently responsible for a team of four Officers) ensures that the payroll process runs smoothly and is completed with a high level of accuracy. The Payroll Team Leader is responsible for the payroll team’s efficient interaction with the Finance and People and Culture Services functions. The Payroll Team Leader provides specialist advice and support to CEDWW’s leadership group. Within the P&C Services Function, CEDWW Payroll is a shared service that provides payroll services to all Diocesan Schools and Offices (approx 1800 employees and casual staff). The Payroll Team Leader plays an integral role in the success of our workforce and the achievement of our vision, mission and organisational objectives.

<p>To be negotiated</p><p>This role is based in the CEDWW Office in Wagga Wagga NSW</p><p><b>Essential Requirements </b></p><ul><li>Experience running end to end payroll in a high volume environment. </li><li>Understanding of payroll compliance. </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of Modern Awards and other state and industry legislation. </li><li>Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation. </li><li>Experience leading a team </li><li>Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Advanced computer software skills, Word and Excel and other accounting / payroll packages. </li><li>Relevant industry standard qualification(s) or Diploma or Bachelor Degree </li><li>Current Drivers Licence. </li></ul><p><b>Desirable </b></p><ul><li>Experience in the Education sector </li><li>Experience working in a large multidisciplinary organisation </li></ul><p>The role description is attached or can be accessed by clicking <a href=";sharing" rel="nofollow">here</a>.</p><p>This role will require the successful applicant to hold a current Working With Children Check and consent to a National Police Criminal History Check.<br /></p><p>For further information about this position, please contact Ms Monique Swan - Interim Leader of PHRIS-Payroll Services on 0427 250671 or via email at <a href="mailto:recruitement&#64;" rel="nofollow">recruitment&#64;</a> <br /></p>
