It seeks to provide the distinctive identity, relationships, learning and leadership, supporting its staff and families to meet the high expectations for the achievement and holistic development of its students in our local, national and international communities. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>Reporting into the CEO of Bellfield College, the Teacher-Librarian will be responsible for the professional management and organisation of Bellfield College’s library services. </p><p><b>This a maternity leave cover, full time OR part time for 12 months commencing January 2021. </b></p><p><b>Key responsibilities </b></p><ul><li>Collaborating and working alongside teachers to develop and deliver student-centred programs </li><li>Creating a vibrant and welcoming environment where the love of reading and literature is nurtured and encouraged  </li><li>Managing the operations and the Library Information System </li><li>Teaching library lessons for K-6 classes </li><li>Resource management and promotion </li><li>Facilitating the utilisation of shared resources </li><li>Promoting library programs, events and activities </li><li>Supporting staff and student accounts and library enquiries </li></ul><p><b>Our Ideal Candidate </b></p><ul><li>Relevant qualifications in Education, Library &amp; Information Systems or Teacher Librarianship </li><li>Demonstrated experience in an educational environment</li><li>A passion for teaching and student learning </li><li>Excellent organisational and behavioural management skills </li><li>Demonstrated understanding of engaging with children </li><li>Strong interpersonal savvy, relationship building and collaboration </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Strong team player work ethic, with the ability to work as part of a community </li><li>Able to demonstrate empathy with the ethos of the organisation </li></ul><p><b>What next? </b></p><p>If you’d like to express interest, send through a full resume and covering letter addressing your interest and suitability to the role directly to Dr Sam Jebeile, CEO via email headofcollege&#64;bellfield.nsw.edu.au.
