A co-educational, Year 7-12 Catholic High School which opened in 2011, serving the western Macarthur and Wollondilly areas, with an enrolment of 1000 students in 2020.

<p>A permanent full time position 27 January 2021. The successful applicant will be required to development and lead learning technologies and information services at the College.</p> <p>The role of Middle Leader exists to support the principal in implementing the vision and mission of the school, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students and assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <p>The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Has a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church and to the College's Benedictine traditions.</li> <li>Create and lead a culture&nbsp;of targeted innovation in line with the School’s strategic plan,&nbsp;promoting technology and information services priorities to transform learning and teaching practice.</li> <li>Build awareness and use of digital strategies&nbsp;Identify and manage resources needed across the College to meet and enhance explicit&nbsp;learning outcomes in all domains for both learning technologies and information services.</li> <li>Engage with and analyse adaptive learning technologies to meet the needs of the School environment.</li> <li>Support the development and promotion of a culture of innovation in the School.</li> <li>Providing leadership in college based professional development programs related to learning technology.</li> <li>Provide leadership to the Information Services staff.</li> <li>Work closely with teachers to implement innovative use of technology.</li> <li>Provide direction on the appropriate resources, budgets required to support the College’s Learning Technologies and Information Services Plan.</li> </ul> <p>The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Strong organisational and technology skills.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Level C Accreditation aligned in accordance with to ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ &nbsp;policy or a commitment to gain within the first contractual period.</li> <li>NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as a child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p> <p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Closing date: 26 August 2020 at 3pm</strong></p>
