<p><b>POSITION OF LEADERSHIP </b></p><p><b>LEADER – LEARNING AND ENGAGEMENT </b></p><p><b>Commencing 2021 </b></p><p> </p><p>Catholic Regional College North Keilor, a Year 7 – 10 secondary college in the north west suburbs, is seeking applications suitably qualified and experienced teaching professional to take on this newly created role from 2021. </p><p> </p><p>The Leader – Learning and Engagement is a passionate educator who has the wisdom, demonstrated skill sets, confidence, experience, drive and commitment to develop and work with both the Teaching and Learning Forum, and the Student Wellbeing Forum, to focus on the holistic growth of all students. This person will emphasise and support the building of pedagogical capacity to ensure staff are confident and capable of using contemporary educational methods and digital learning tools for authentic teaching and learning. </p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant will be able to encourage, develop and build the capacity of all teaching staff in their understanding and practice of effective use of ICT in teaching and learning. They will also ensure strong technology adoption in and outside the classroom that holds context and meaning for students, is purposeful, and in alignment with the pedagogical strategic direction of CRC North Keilor. </p><p> </p><p>Other key areas of responsibility include: </p><p>• Implementation and ongoing support in the use of Schoolbox, the College LMS </p><p>• Building of pedagogical capacity </p><p>• Use of ICT in the classroom </p><p>• Collection and use of data to inform practice and assess student learning outcomes </p><p>• Staff induction in use of Schoolbox, and ICT in classroom setting </p><p>• Focus on positive learning experiences of the student </p><p>• Act as a link between ICT Team and the Classroom to create authentic student engagement </p><p> </p><p>This is a full-time teaching role combined with POL 3/18 sessions per cycle time allowance. </p><p> </p><p>Please refer to the role description for more detailed information on the responsibilities and duties.</p><p> </p><p>Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 21 August 2020 </p><p> </p><p>This school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children </p><p><br /></p>
