<p><b>POSITION OF LEADERSHIP </b></p><p><b>DIRECTOR – PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE </b></p><p><b>Commencing 2021 </b></p><p> </p><p>Catholic Regional College North Keilor, a Year 7 – 10 secondary college in the north west suburbs, is seeking applications suitably qualified and experienced teaching professional to take on this position from 2021. </p><p> </p><p>Reporting to the Principal, the Director – Professional Practice plays an important role on the College Leadership Team and as such shares in the responsibility for Faith Leadership at the College. The person filling this role will work collaboratively with members of the College Leadership Team and all leadership forums to develop, with the aim of enhancing a culture of Learning and Reflective Practice at the College. </p><p> </p><p>The Director – Professional Practice focuses on encouraging and promoting excellence and achievement amongst all teachers, students and parents/guardians in our community, as well as offering leadership and direction in the area of staff professional wellbeing. </p><p> </p><p>Other key areas of responsibility include: </p><p>• Professional Practice – all staff; including Provisionally Registered Teachers, and Pre-Service Teachers </p><p>• Maintain an awareness and offer Leadership in relation to up-to-date current educational trends and research with staff to inform and improve their professional practice </p><p>• Embed Growth Coaching principles and approaches in key practices to support the professional growth of all staff </p><p>• Oversee a framework of Coaching and Mentoring for all staff </p><p>• Professional Learning Program </p><p>• Oversee induction for all staff, both new and returning to the College, and staff commencing new leadership roles </p><p>• Have a focus on supporting the professional wellbeing of all staff </p><p> </p><p>This is a full-time teaching role combined with POL 4/20 sessions per cycle time allowance. </p><p> </p><p>Please refer to the role description for more detailed information on the responsibilities and duties.</p><p> </p><p>Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 21 August 2020 </p><p><br /></p><p>This school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children </p><p><br /></p>
