<p><b>POSITION OF LEADERSHIP </b></p><p><b>DIRECTOR – CURRICULUM AND PEDAGOGY </b></p><p><b>Commencing 2021 </b></p><p> </p><p>Catholic Regional College North Keilor, a Year 7 – 10 secondary college in the north west suburbs, is seeking applications suitably qualified and experienced teaching professional to take on this newly created role from 2021. </p><p> </p><p>The Director – Curriculum and Pedagogy plays an important role on the College Leadership Team and as such shares in the responsibility for Faith Leadership at the College. You should be a passionate educator who has the wisdom, demonstrated skill sets, confidence, experience, drive and commitment to make a positive impact. </p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant will enhance teaching and learning strategies and student engagement in learning, utilising, in part, digital learning environments and pathways, including supporting staff in drawing upon AITSL standards to improve outcomes of student learning. </p><p> </p><p>The Director will ensure the College curriculum is appropriately mapped, cohesive, and consistent with Victorian Curriculum standards, and inclusive of the General Capabilities strands. This person will also focus on areas including strengthening the performance and development culture of the College by promoting an enriching, supportive and motivating environment for staff and students, which encourages a sharing of skills, knowledge and ideas. </p><p> </p><p>Other key areas of responsibility include: </p><p>• Reporting and Assessment - Formative and Summative Assessment </p><p>• Learning diversity and differentiated learning </p><p>• New subject and elective proposals </p><p>• Overseeing Literacy and Numeracy initiatives </p><p>• Supporting implementation of Growth Habits and Assessment Rubrics </p><p>• Overseeing Year 9 and 10 Exams </p><p> </p><p>This is a full-time teaching role combined with POL 4/20 sessions per cycle time allowance. </p><p> </p><p>Please refer to the role description for more detailed information on the responsibilities and duties.</p><p><br /></p><p>Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 21 August 2020 </p><p> </p><p>This school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children .</p>
