An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled and experienced leader, who as Principal promotes the vision and mission of the Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst through Religious, Educational and Enabling Leadership. Located in Orange, this gives the successful leader the opportunity to live and work in one of the most popular tree-change destinations in NSW.

<p><b>Applications are warmly invited for the position of Principal – St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Orange, NSW. </b></p><p>St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic systemic co-educational school located in Orange, just over 3hrs from Sydney. </p><p>The school was established on its present site on the corner of Park and &amp; Byng Streets in 1998 following the closure of the existing school on Bathurst Road. The Sisters of Mercy taught at the original site and have a strong affiliation with the school and parish. With current enrolments of 377, the school has modern facilities and is set on a large block of land which is also the site for St. Mary&#39;s Church. </p><p>St. Mary’s is one of 33 schools in the Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst who are on a significant journey of improvement, guided by the research on high performing schools and the systems they comprise. Articulated in their Strategic Plan 2019-2021, they have a deep commitment to a professional learning communities&#39; culture in faith filled schools.</p><p>Led by the Principal, they continue to embed a high-performance culture with an unwavering focus on strong leadership, equity and sustainability, with the ultimate goal of high levels of learning for all in a rapidly changing world.
