<p>Aquinas Catholic College is a Systemic Co-educational College located in the Sutherland Shire with an enrolment of over 1,090 students and 130 staff. Established in 1993 the College is a faith based educational community centred on Jesus Christ, enlivened by the Gospels and with the model of St Thomas Aquinas as a faithful learner. </p><p> </p><p>We are seeking an experienced and collaborative TAS Coordinator (2 point allocation) with strong leadership skills to lead our TAS team and engage our students.  </p><p>Position commences 27 January 2021.</p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant will possess/demonstrate: </p><ul><li>A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church. </li><li>The ability to teach a wide range of subjects and recent Stage 6 TAS (NESA) experience in one or more TAS courses (HSC marking in one or more courses would be considered an advantage). </li><li>A commitment to academic excellence and sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy, including the nature of assessment and differentiated learning, which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data. </li><li>The capacity to contribute to improved teaching and learning in TAS by modelling differentiated pedagogy and reflective classroom practices as well as facilitating staff professional development.</li><li>The capacity to promote teacher professionalism and encourage positive staff morale by contributing to and initiating processes for team building. </li><li>The ability to develop, evaluate and revise faculty policies and practices which comply with College, Sydney Catholic Schools and NESA legislative requirements and guidelines.</li><li>The ability to implement an annual review of key results and utilising a professional interpretation of external data. </li><li>The capability to collaborate with colleagues to build genuine and professional relationships and to promote shared commitment and a sense of alignment with College strategic directions. </li><li>A willingness to contribute to a range of extra-curricular activities. </li></ul><p>Applicants for the above position should provide their curriculum vitae as well as a written response to the above criteria to the Principal - principal&#64;aquinasmenai.catholic.edu.au </p><p> </p><p>Applications should include the contact details of three referees (including your current and previous Principal).
