<p>The successful teacher will be able to use their appropriate knowledge and skills to ensure that students receive superior quality education consistent with Catholic faith and Christian principles. Their role is to provide for students in our Catholic school, which is achieved through the: </p><ul><li>development, delivery and evaluation of teaching and learning programs; </li><li>monitoring of student achievement to address individual learning needs; and </li><li>contributing to the achievement of the school&#39;s mission. </li></ul><p>The teacher will liaise and coordinate activities for their teaching area within the school and wider community. The teaching load will include English, HASS and Religious Education for Years 7 and 8. </p><p>Essential Criteria: </p><ul><li> Passionate about teaching </li><li>Knowledgeable in the Australian curriculum areas </li><li>An outstanding classroom manager </li><li>Committed to student pastoral care </li><li>ICT literate </li><li>Willing to make positive contributions to the College and to support actively the Catholic ethos of the school </li><li>First Aid Certificate desirable</li></ul><p>This full time teaching position commencing at the beginning of Semester 2 Term 4 2020 and running to end of Semester 2 Term 3 2021, with possibility of an extension of the contract to the end of the 2021 school year.  <br /></p> <p> </p>
