To this end, the Executive Director of Sydney Catholic Schools invites applications for the following leadership position:</p> <p><strong>RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COORDINATOR<br> <br> </strong><strong>Location:</strong> St Bernard's Catholic Primary School, Botany |K-6 | 205 Students<br> <strong>Commencement Date: </strong>27 January 2021<br> <strong>Closing Date: </strong>21 August 2020<strong><br> <br> </strong>As a member of the school leadership team, the Religious Education Coordinator shares responsibility for the development of the Catholic life of the school, leadership of its vision, mission and strategic priorities and contribution to the management of the school. The Religious Education Coordinator has delegated responsibility for the coordination and supervision of teaching and learning in Religious Education. This position requires an outstanding educator with a well-developed capacity to take forward the evangelising mission of Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Sydney.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE SCHOOL</strong></p> <p>St Bernard's Catholic Primary School Botany is a diverse and close-knit community serving the parish of Botany. It is a one-stream school with a population of 205 students and 23 staff. Founded by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in 1855, their charism, along with the life of St Bernard, inspires our school vision; that all in our community are <em>United in Faith, Inspired to Achieve and Empowered for life</em>. A culture of learning is fostered where students are expected to do their best and aim to achieve excellence.
