<p>We are seeking an innovative and energetic educator who is qualified to teach in our College in this temporary, full-time maternity leave position from 16 November 2020 to the end of Term 3, 2021. <br /> </p><p>Essential criteria for the History position are:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Degree in HSIE and appropriate teacher education qualification;<br /></li><li>Ability to teach Stage 6 Modern History and Stages 4 &amp; 5 Australian History;</li><li>Recent, active substantial professional development in teaching in the area of HSIE curricula;</li><li>Recent interest in or exposure to best practice pedagogy in secondary HSIE;</li><li>Energy and enthusiasm for raising levels of girls’ achievement in HSIE;</li><li>Sound and thorough knowledge of NESA curricula in HSIE and a willingness to build up the same;</li><li>A willingness to lead, administer and contribute to the extensive extra-curricular program the College offers.</li></ul><p>Bethany is a technology-rich school with a Newman Selective School stream.
