Cranbrook School is seeking an experienced and energetic Pre-school Educator to join our dynamic Pre-School team on a part-time (0.4FTE) basis. Commencing 10 September 2020, working across four days, Monday (12:30pm - 3:30pm), Wednesday (8am - 2pm), Thursday (12:30pm - 3:30pm) and Friday (12:30pm - 3:30pm).

<p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>The position is part of the team at our St Michael’s Pre-school located in Vaucluse. </p><p>Reporting to the Coordinator of Pre-Schools and the Head of Junior School, the successful applicant will possess an exemplary understanding of best practice and sustain a deep commitment to implementing rigorous, highly differentiated and creative programmes in an early childhood setting. </p><p>The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who is passionate about working with children aged 3 to 5 years. They will have experience planning, implementing and evaluating a stimulating programme within an early childhood setting to meet the needs of children with identified needs. </p><p><b>Essential skills and experience</b><br /></p><ul><li>Demonstrate a perceptive understanding of the role of evidence in informing teaching and learning. </li><li>Experience in digital documentation and journals. </li><li>Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills. </li><li> Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. </li><li>Experience working with the IB Primary Years Programme is highly advantageous. </li></ul><p><b>Other attributes </b></p><p>Educators who have a Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent, are encouraged to apply. </p><p><b>PRE-EMPLOYMENT CHECKS </b></p><p>Cranbrook School is a child safe environment.
