<p>A permanent full-time position is commencing on 27 January 2021. The successful applicant will be an experienced and collaborative Mathematics teacher. Able to lead the Mathematics learning area to implement 21st Century Teaching and Learning strategies and engage students&#39; passion, creativity and enjoyment of all the department have to offer.</p><p>Selection Criteria<br /></p><p>The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:<br /></p><ul><li>Recent Stage 6 Mathematics (NESA) experience in one or more Mathematics courses</li><li>The ability to teach a wide range of subjects and HSC marking in one or more courses would be considered an advantage<br /></li><li>Displays an ability to lead learning and foster innovation and creativity in a collaborative environment.</li><li>Has a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.<br /></li><li>Demonstrates a commitment to academic excellence and sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy, including the nature of assessment and differentiated learning.</li><li>Highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents</li><li>Builds a learning culture of shared responsibility for quality teaching and student learning growth.</li><li>Has a comprehensive understanding of NESA requirements and a proven ability to implement effective teaching programs.<br /></li><li>Knowledge and understanding of requirements of all courses within the relevant KLA.</li><li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.<br /></li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Strong organisational skills.</li><li>Flexibility and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment.</li><li>Willingness to contribute to a range of extra-curricular activities.</li></ul><p>Qualifications<br /></p><ul><li>NESA Accreditation to teach Mathematics</li><li>A current Working With Children Check approval Number</li></ul><p>Please forward your covering letter and CV to Nita Faga by 9:00 am on Friday 21st August 2020.</p><p><br /></p>
