Both schools have joined together to ensure this role supports each school’s commitment towards meaningful post school pathways through contemporary community engagement.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Further to the <a href="https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pH1WbjlTyZ_2ldvZlBXXEfJPqyzRT_LB">role purpose</a> as outlined by Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta, the role will focus more so on the partnerships aspects of the role than pathways coaching; in particular, the first four of the specific accountabilities. To elaborate, the person will be required to:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work closely with in school coaches, teachers and leaders to provide students with the opportunities to connect with tertiary organisations, businesses and other groups.</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Develop connections with local and global businesses to&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">enable students to engage in meaningful internships where they can learn about the world of work from practitioners and experts in the field.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">work with our students on various in-school projects</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">conduct presentations about their work and the employment opportunities in their field.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">present students with a real-world, complex problem from their field or their current work, host innovation fairs and assist with in-school entrepreneur clubs.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">liaise with other CEDP Partnerships Network regarding partnership arrangements.</p> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Establish direct entry arrangements with tertiary partners which acknowledge (other than ATAR) pathways including online folios of work, micro-credentialing and diploma courses.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Regularly communicate to students and families about the endless opportunities and new pathways for post school life which challenge stereotypes, both gender and socio economic.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Develop and establish a network which uses the skills and capabilities of the parent and wider community to assist in both Colleges’ commitment to multiple post school pathways.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">The ideal person is a relationship builder who can creatively imagine multiple post school pathways which break the mould of the current day, one size fits all approach to preparing for post school life.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Please Note: This is a Professional Officer role with a salary range between $91,482 and $105,928 (base salary) Monday to Friday.
