<p><b><u>Responsibilities include: </u></b></p><ul><li> Working closely with and/or as part of the school wellbeing team to deliver student resilience and wellbeing services </li><li>Providing students, their families and staff with support and or appropriate referrals in difficult situations such as during times of grief or when students are facing personal challenges </li><li>Organising one-on-one or group sessions with students, parents, and teachers </li><li>Participating in school activities such as sport, camps, gardens etc </li><li>Attending Parent Teacher meetings to provide information about the wellbeing support service </li><li>Maintaining relevant professional records and email communication </li><li>Communicating with support services </li><li>Providing reports to Principal/Deputy Principal/Wellbeing leader </li></ul><p><b><u> Key Selection Criteria: </u></b></p><ul><li> Minimum qualifications are Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent. Degree or diploma-qualified candidates in education, social work, psychology, welfare or youth work will be highly regarded. </li><li>Experience in working within a school setting or a child/youth support program </li><li>A demonstrated understanding of the challenges and practicalities involved in providing wellbeing support within a school community </li><li>An informed and evidence-based understanding of youth/child development and related wellbeing issues </li><li>A demonstrated ability to work both as a member of a team and independently </li><li>A demonstrated understanding of the operation of the school environment </li><li>A high standard of written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Positive and reliable work ethic </li></ul><p> Applicants must address the Key Selection Criteria, provide a professional resume and contact details of three referees who have worked in a supervisory capacity.
