An excellent opportunity has arisen at Catholic Education Melbourne for an Early Childhood Occupational Therapist.

<ul><li>0.4 FTE, 12-months Fixed Term Position, based in East Melbourne </li></ul><p> Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) is a dynamic education service provider to 335 Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 450 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. CEM provides services to schools in areas as diverse as Curriculum, RE, Finance, ICT, Marketing and Communications, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations. This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. </p><h4> ABOUT THE POSITION </h4><p> Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced occupational therapists to work in a multi-disciplinary team providing support to schools, designing education adjustments to enhance learning outcomes for students with complex communication, sensory and behavioural needs.  </p><p> </p><p>The salary range for this position is $84,689 - $96,130 per annum (SP Grade 3, subdivision 1 – SP Grade 3, subdivision 6) in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018. Superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation is in addition to this salary payment. Annual leave of four weeks, and professional working hours apply to this position and other conditions as per the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018. </p><h4>TO BE SUCCESSFUL </h4><p>The successful applicant will have extensive experience in early interventions or school settings, and the development of behaviour support plans for inclusion of students with learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviours. You will have well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to consult effectively and manage multiple stakeholder interests whilst working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. </p><p> </p><p>Experience in a school based environment will be highly regarded. </p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant will have full registration with AHPRA at general registration standard, and eligibility for membership with Occupational Therapy Australia.
