<p>Al Zahra College is seeking to employ an IB MYP/DP Experienced Mathematics teacher who is able to teach years 7-12. IB experience is not essential but highly regarded.</p> <p><b>The successful applicant will need to meet the following criteria:</b></p><ul><li>An experienced Mathematics Teacher (Years 7-12) to teach both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) Years 7-10 and Diploma Programme DP (Years 11-12) </li><li>Knowledge of Years 7-10 NESA Curriculum, MYP and DP Curriculum </li><li>Have a thorough understanding of program requirements and curriculum planning for students in years 7 to 12 (including those with learning enrichment needs)</li><li>Possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Demonstrate outstanding behavioural management strategies for students</li><li>Show a proven ability to effectively engage and motivate students </li><li>Have the ability to modify instructions to cater for the individual learning needs of students</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with other teachers, and work as part of a team</li><li>Possess a strong work ethic, striving for continuous improvement and the achievement of high standards</li><li>A teacher who can quickly form strong relationships with students and teachers within the Faculty, with a willingness to employ a range of teaching methodologies to engage students and enable positive student outcomes. </li><li>A teacher who purposefully and effectively embraces technology within the classroom. </li></ul><p><b>Essential: </b></p><ul><li> Previous experience working as a Mathematics Teacher</li><li>Relevant teaching qualification in the area of Mathematics </li><li>Hold current Working with Children Check</li><li>Have the right to work in Australia<br /></li></ul><p><b>How to Apply:</b></p><p>Applications must include a cover letter, resume and three current referees and be directed to:</p><p> </p><p>Dr Wissam Mustapha, Headmaster </p><p>Email: careers&#64;azc.nsw.edu.au</p><ul></ul>
