<p><b>English Coordinator </b></p><p><b>2 Point Full Time Position </b></p><p><b>Commencing 27 January 2021 </b></p><p>Applications are invited for the above permanent position from qualified teachers who demonstrate a sincere commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education and possess appropriate teaching qualifications. </p><p>Criteria: </p><p>• Commitment to Catholic education and a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic Schools, and the charisms of St. John Baptiste De La Salle and the Venerable Catherine McAuley </p><p>• Qualifications and experience in teaching a range of Junior and Senior English Courses • Ability to lead a KLA team and to successfully liaise with students, staff, parents and relevant organisations regarding English curriculum and classroom matters </p><p>• Demonstrated ability to promote a culture of effort, engagement and excellence through the development of a positive, supportive student environment and related structures </p><p>• Developed understanding of a Professional Learning Community mindset and commitment to evidence-driven improvement for all students </p><p>• Willingness to undertake administrative, curriculum and supervisory duties associated with the position, including overseeing the Languages Team </p><p><b>A valid Working with Children Check Number is required for this position and must be provided at the time of application.
