St Joseph's Bundaberg, proudly established by Mother Mary MacKillop in 1876, is a co-educational school catering for children from Preschool to Year 7. It is conveniently located just one block from the CBD which gives the students and teachers ready access to the Arts Centre, Moncrieff Theatre, various parks and gardens, Bundaberg library, council chambers, courthouse and other businesses located within the city
The educational and cultural value of such a location is far reaching.
St Joseph's operates a full day, 5 day/week preschool as well as Before and After School and Vacation Care programs. The students have access to instrumental music lessons, specialist science and music teachers, and computer technology classes (small groups).
Class groupings are flexible throughout the school with students moving between groups which best meet their individual needs and abilities.
A small school of 130 students, St Joseph's is a caring, family oriented community which enjoys enormous support from parents, staff and the Holy Rosary Parish.
