<p>Applications are invited for the position of Principal at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Bundaberg, (current enrolment 167), commencing 18 January 2021. </p><p>St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School was founded by two sisters of St Joseph in 1866 and is a family-oriented community-based school. St. Joseph’s School exists for the education of children from Prep age to Year Six and is a co-educational facility still serving Bundaberg region.<br /></p><p>Bundaberg, the historic sugar cane city is just a short 4-hour drive north of Brisbane and the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef with it’s captivating coral cays, lagoons and 140km of glistening white beaches. Once you are finished soaking in the sunshine, explore the city, museums, heritage buildings and lush botanical gardens Bundaberg has something for everyone. </p><p>The Principal is the religious, educational and organisational leader of a Catholic School within the Diocese of Rockhampton. They provide leadership and exercise prudential stewardship of the Catholic School, being ultimately responsible for the Catholic identity and ethos, curriculum and effective management of the school. </p><p>The successful applicant will have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education based on a personal faith, active participation in the faith life of their parish, as well as having appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.
