<p>The position is a member of the LEVNT team, working with and supporting the Executive Director of LEVNT. The Director: Leadership and School Improvement will work consultatively and collaboratively with this team to ensure the operations of LEVNT are carried out in a highly professional and cohesive manner. </p><p> </p><p>The primary objective of the position of Director: Leadership and School Improvement is to provide support for the Executive Director of LEVNT in meeting their duties and responsibilities, and to provide support and care to the schools of the Region with matters of leadership and school improvement. The position will deputize for the Executive Director as required. </p><p> </p><p>The Director: Leadership and School Improvement is responsible for eight broad functional areas within Lutheran Education Victoria, NSW and Tasmania (LEVNT): </p><p>• Strategy implementation </p><p>• LEVNT system leadership </p><p>• Leadership development </p><p>• School improvement </p><p>• Principal support and development </p><p>• School governance </p><p>• Communication </p><p>• Program and project management </p><p> </p><p>The Director: Leadership and School Improvement are expected to act within the delegated authorities of the role, exercise independent judgment in a confidential manner, and exhibit strong communication skills, discernment, sensitivity and discretion in all business interactions. </p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
