St Paul’s Catholic College is seeking a Full-time Permanent Student Coordinator commencing Term 1, 2021. This position attracts a 2 pts allowance. St Paul's Catholic College offers an inclusive, welcoming and comfortable environment. The growth of the students is nurtured and encouraged by a supportive faculty through the provision of creative freedom, empowerment of the individual and opportunities for prayer and reflection. The curriculum, both formal and informal, focuses on spiritual growth and reflects a respect for the diversity of all 950 students, their differing levels of abilities, strengths, weaknesses and gifts. The Student Coordinator is a member of the school's leadership team, which comprises the Principal, Assistant Principals and other Coordinators. As a member of this team, the Coordinator will offer assistance and support in: <br/>• leading Improvement, innovation and change <br/>• promotion of the Catholic ethos of the School <br/>• the implementation of the School's policies and procedures <br/>• the promotion of the hospitality, accessibility and visibility of the executive team <br/>• the promotion of quality teaching and learning in the foundation of excellence in pastoral care

• An understanding of and a clear commitment to the philosophy and objectives of Catholic education and a significant capacity for involvement in the school's Religious Studies programme; <br>• A thorough knowledge of, a capacity, and a willingness, to initiate, manage and evaluate effective pastoral care programmes; <br>• A capacity to fulfil the requirements of a middle management position within a secondary school; <br>• A capacity and willingness to actively supervise and support staff within their area of pastoral care and student engagement; <br>• A capacity for, and ability to demonstrate, effective liaison and communication skills; <br>• A high level of proficiency as a classroom teacher and the understanding of contemporary pedagogy; <br>• An understanding of relevant procedures pertaining to Child Protection legislation; <br>• High levels of competency in record keeping and organisational skills; <br>• Proficiency in the use of technology as an organisational tool; <br>• A capacity to support staff in relation to the management of students in the classroom where issues arise across a range of subject areas, including wellbeing and engagement in learning. <br> <h3>Essential Criteria:</h3> <br> • current Parish Priest Reference and contact details. <br>•Current NESA Accreditation and Paid Working With Children Check (WWCC); <br>• Qualifications as a four year trained teacher; <br>• Completion of Anaphylaxis training; <br>• Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead 2018 and willingness to work towards the Current Accreditation at Category C – Accreditation for Leadership. <br> <h3>Desirable Criteria:</h3> <br> <br> <h3>Renumeration:</h3> <br> Salary is in accordance with New South Wales &amp; Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2017.
