St Joseph’s High School, Aberdeen is currently seeking a Full-time Permanent Learning Technology Coordinator commencing Term 1,2021. This position attracts a 2 pts allowance. St Joseph’s High School is a co-educational, Year 7-12 school committed in partnership with the community to meeting the academic, social, physical and spiritual needs of its students. St Joseph’s promotes an authentic learning community with a rigorous and comprehensive academic curriculum encouraging high standards of education for every student. The Learning Technology Coordinator is a member of the school's leadership team, which comprises the Principal, Assistant Principals and other Coordinators.

• A relevant understanding of the philosophy of Catholic Education; <br>• High level knowledge of the relevant key learning area/s and a proven capacity to improve student learning; <br>• Effective classroom management and teaching skills which enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential; <br>• Exemplary values and attitudes appropriate to professional practice and the intellectual, physical and social development of students; <br>• Ability to successfully implement and evaluate curriculum initiatives in accordance with curriculum and standards framework; <br>• Ability to promote and support staff to develop innovative and effective teaching and learning practices that involve ICT across all KLA’s; <br>• An understanding of cross-curricular issues such as literacy and numeracy (and the incorporation of ICT skills into teaching programmes); <br>• Demonstrated capacity to reflect critically upon professional practice and commitment to ongoing professional learning; <br>• A capacity and willingness to professionally develop self and relevant staff in the effective use of ICT in the classroom; <br>• Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities as a member of the school team; <br>• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and other teachers; <br>• Use of interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with students, school staff and the wider community; <br>• A capacity to fulfil the requirements of a Middle Management position within a secondary school; <br>• Proficiency in the use of technology as a teaching and organisational tool; <br>• Ability to oversee and implement the St Joseph’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program; <br>• Ability to liaise with IT staff and the Student Support Team to ensure where possible staff and students access to technology is maintained at a high level; <br>• Liaise with other secondary Learning technology Coordinators to ensure a strong collaborative network exists across the Diocese. <br> <h3>Essential Criteria:</h3> <br> • Current NESA Accreditation and Paid Working With Children Check (WWCC); <br>• Qualifications as a four year trained teacher; <br>• Completion of Anaphylaxis training; <br>• Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead 2018 and willingness to work towards the Current Accreditation at Category C – Accreditation for Leadership. <br> <h3>Desirable Criteria:</h3> <br> <br> <h3>Renumeration:</h3> <br> Salary is in accordance with New South Wales &amp; Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2017.
