<ul><li>2 Year Fixed Term, Full Time Role </li></ul><p>Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) is a dynamic education service provider to 335 Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 450 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. CEM provides services to schools in areas as diverse as Curriculum, RE, Finance, ICT, Marketing and Communications, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations. This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. <br /></p><h4>ABOUT THE POSITION </h4><p>Based at the Western Regional Office, the Learning Consultant, Literacy Professional Learning will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic education and a capacity to realise that mission in the context of the Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) ongoing strategy which promotes strong, shared leadership and a culture of creativity and innovative practice. </p><p>The Key objectives of this position include the ability to: </p><ol><li>Provide school leaders of learning and teaching with strategic advice relating to the development, implementation and evaluation of Catholic Education Melbourne and Victorian curriculum, assessment and reporting priorities.</li><li> Build capacity of teachers and school leadership teams for school improvement in literacy at a school and system level. </li><li>Build capacity of school leadership teams to engage teachers in Catholic curriculum design and pedagogy in literacy.Build capacity of teachers and school leaders to be critically reflective and monitor their own growth and impact.</li><li>Provide advice to the Regional General Manager, the Manager, Improved Learning Outcomes, and the Team Leader, Literacy on the curriculum, assessment and reporting needs of Catholic schools in the region.</li></ol><p> </p><p>This is a fixed term Learning Consultant position. Salary for this position is between $84,884 (T2/1) and $106,146 (T2/6) in accordance with the Teacher Salaries as set out in the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018, and is based upon teaching qualifications and experience. In addition to this, a school adviser allowance which is dependent upon years of service will be applicable (categorised by either A: $8665 or B: $11,716). Superannuation according to the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation will be in addition to the above salary advertised.
