<p>STEM Teacher - Fixed Term position Maternity Leave replacement</p><p> </p><p>Graduate teachers are welcome to apply</p><p>Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Term 3 and 4 2020 (0.6 position). </p><p>In Semester 2 our STEM classes will be 60 minutes in duration for 12 classes.</p><p>The successful applicant will have: </p><ul><li>the ability to contribute as a member of a Professional Learning Team, planning and teaching in a collaborative environment focused on STEM </li><li>an understanding of the 21st century learner </li><li>a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children </li><li>familiarity with contemporary approaches to teaching and learning</li><li>excellent skills in integrating learning technologies across the curriculum </li><li>the ability to inspire and encourage students with a love of learning </li><li>the ability to cater effectively for a diverse range of learning needs </li><li>excellent organisational and communication skills. </li></ul><p>Please note that St. Jude the Apostle School promotes child safety in every aspect of our community - all applicants will need to comply with relevant guidelines for employment of staff in Catholic schools. </p><p> </p><p> The applicant must: </p><ul><li>have registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T. </li><li>have accreditation (or preparedness to undertake such) to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school </li><li>be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in Terms 3 and 4; there is a possibility of continuing into 2021.</li><li>provide referees that can attest to their suitability regarding working with children.</li></ul>
