This is a permanent appointment to the school with a four year contract for the Deputy Principal role. This position will be linked with a Position of Leadership i.e. Religious Education Leader, Learning and Teaching Leader, Learning Diversity Leader, or Student Wellbeing Leader. To be negotiated depending on Applicant's previous experience and skills.

<p>We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Principal to join our professional learning community. Leaders with a passion for creating an exciting learning community for our children are encouraged to apply.</p><p><br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be required to: </p><ul><li>nurture the faith development of all in the St. Peter’s School Community. </li><li>support the work of the Principal. </li><li>have highly developed skills in the area of communication, policy knowledge, student wellbeing, curriculum planning and administration. </li><li>demonstrate an ability to foster and maintain strong relationships, build partnerships with the wider community to enhance the community atmosphere of the school. </li><li>demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic Education.</li><li>have prior experience as a Deputy Principal or Acting Deputy Principal.</li><li>be an active participant of their Catholic Parish</li><li>have a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.</li><li>have relevant, appropriate and substantial educational experience, including classroom teaching and leadership positions, in a variety of educational settings.</li><li>be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School.</li></ul><p>Please provide four referees, including your Parish Priest, current Principal and two others.</p>
