An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employee Relations Advisor to join the team at Catholic Education Melbourne

<p>2 years fixed term, full-time position based in East Melbourne </p><p> Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) is a dynamic education service provider to 335 Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 450 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. CEM provides services to schools in areas as diverse as Curriculum, RE, Finance, ICT, Marketing and Communications, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations. This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. </p><h4> ABOUT THE POSITION </h4><p>The Integrated Catholic Online Network (ICON) project is a collaborative project between Victorian Catholic schools and the four Victorian Catholic Education Offices in the Archdiocese of Melbourne and the Dioceses of Ballarat, Sale and Sandhurst. ICON is aimed at improving all schools by facilitating collaboration and pooling of resources and strategies to improve student learning across Victorian Catholic education to capitalise on and enhance the collective wisdom of Catholic educators and administrators. </p><p>The Employee Relations Advisor - ICON will provide expert and highly responsive employee relations advice to the Manager, Employee Relations and to employers and principals of schools throughout their transition to ICON, with a key focus on maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Applications are invited from suitably experienced Employee Relations professionals for the full-time two-year fixed term position of this role. </p><p>The commencement salary for this position will be $100,000 per annum commensurate with relevant skills, experience and formal qualifications, plus superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation and 17.5% of four weeks annual leave loading. Salary packaging arrangements are also available to staff of the Catholic Education Melbourne. Professional working hours and annual leave of four weeks apply to this position.  </p><h4> TO BE SUCCESSFUL </h4><p>The successful applicant will have previous experience in an IR / HR role and have experience delivering employee relations policy and advice in a complex organisational setting.
