An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Application Developer to join the team at Catholic Education Melbourne.
<p>2 years Full Time Fixed Term Position</p><p>
Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) is a dynamic education service provider to 334 Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 450 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. CEM provides services to schools in areas as diverse as Curriculum, RE, Finance, ICT, Marketing and Communications, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations. ABOUT THE POSITION </h4><p>The Application Developer will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic education and a capacity to realise that mission in the context of the Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) Strategy Plan which promotes strong, shared leadership and a culture of creativity and innovative practice.
</p><p>Operating as the Application Developer, the successful candidate will be required to:
</p><ul><li>Investigate and remediate existing software programs to fix bugs and data issues.
</li><li>Modify or develop new software programs to deliver system capabilities in accordance with the functional and non-functional specifications provided. </li><li>Participate in and support other staff throughout the software development lifecycle as required, including post implementation support </li></ul><p>Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum + superannuation and other benefits. </p><h4>
TO BE SUCCESSFUL </h4><ol><li>Tertiary qualification in IT that includes the SDLC.
</p><p>The successful applicant will also be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check.
</p><p>Applicants must hold full unrestricted working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
