<p>Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) is a dynamic education service provider to 335 Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 450 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. CEM provides services to schools in areas as diverse as Curriculum, RE, Finance, ICT, Marketing and Communications, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations. This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. <br /></p><h4> ABOUT THE POSITION </h4><p> Fixed-Term, Full Time </p><p>The Team Leader, School Effectiveness, will assist in leading the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives in the Catholic sector and the provision of policy and strategic advice to Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM). Working with the Improved Learning Outcomes Team, the objectives of the position include the following: </p><ol><li>Lead the development of a renewed strategy for effective schools within the Archdiocese of Melbourne. </li><li>Provide school leaders and teachers with strategic advice relating to the development, implementation and evaluation of Catholic Education Melbourne and Victorian school improvement priorities. </li><li>Build a culture of evidenced-based improvement in schools across a system.   </li><li>Ensure that the education vision and direction of Catholic Education Melbourne drives improved learning outcomes in Catholic schools. </li></ol><p> Salary for this position is $143,490 per annum and subject to superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation in addition to this salary payment. Salary packaging arrangements are also available to staff of Catholic Education Melbourne.
