<p><strong>We are looking for a full-time teacher to teach our Year 6/7 class at Ltyentye Apurte Catholic School (LACS) in Santa Teresa. This is a remarkable school in a beautiful community.  </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>LACS is a K - 12 school in Santa Teresa (aka Ltyentye Apurte), a medium-sized Indigenous Catholic community located 83 KM south east of Alice Springs.</p> <p> </p> <p>There are 40 staff and an enrolment of approximately 125 students.</p> <p> </p> <p>The school has small class sizes and features specialist facilities including a community library and home economics room. Every classroom has access to the internet and is fitted with PCs, laptops, ipads and interactive whiteboards. </p> <p>  </p> <p>English is the second or third language for most students at the school, and the Arrernte language &amp; culture program is a key focus of the curriculum at LACS.</p> <p> </p> <p>Teachers work as members of a team in partnership with local Indigenous people and Arrernte Assistant Teachers.
