<p>Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is a community of thirty-eight schools, colleges and the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office with 2,500 staff supporting 16,000 students.&nbsp;</p> <p>CET is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education for the following position:&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Project Officer: Facilities&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>3 year contract&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>A new key position is available within CET’s Facilities Team to lead and shape the provision of contemporary learning environments for students in Catholic schools across Tasmania.&nbsp;</p> <p>Candidates will be required to demonstrate sound knowledge of educational environments and effective delivery of capital works projects and the following capabilities:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>significant strategic planning experience&nbsp;</li> <li>high-level consultation services in relation to educational facilities planning, design, construction, maintenance and utilisation&nbsp;</li> <li>effective strategic asset management, including facility management, maintenance and compliance&nbsp;</li> <li>establish and maintain stakeholder relationships to support successful projects and programs&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Candidates will demonstrate significant relevant experience and hold tertiary level qualifications in architecture, engineering, project management or related discipline.&nbsp;</p> <p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
