<p><span style="font-size: 18pt">Deputy Principal</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt">MacKillop Catholic College, Mornington</span></p> <p>Catholic Education Tasmania is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges with 2,500 staff supporting over 16,000 students.</p> <p>As a result of the establishment of enhanced leadership structures within our schools, an excellent opportunity exists for suitably qualified and experienced Catholic educators to secure this Deputy Principal position that is available in our school environment.</p> <p>The role has been created to work closely with the school Principal delivering a strategic focus on enriching leadership within schools, delivering enhanced professional outcomes for teachers, and improvements in personal and academic growth for students.</p> <p>Wi<span style="color: #000000">th the possible 2021 introduct</span>ion of Years 11 and 12 at Mackillop Catholic College into the future, the successful&nbsp;candidate will have a&nbsp;passion for co-education across years 7-12, with relevant leadership experience to satisfy the selection criteria for this key senior position.</p> <p>Whilst the role will consist of requisite educational leadership accountabilities the successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>an explicit commitment to faith, and well-developed capacity to take forward the mission of the Catholic Church through the School community</li> <li>exceptional communication skills to effectively build and sustain positive relationships within the school, parish and extended community</li> <li>a successful performance history of inspiring excellence in teachers to enrich social and emotional wellbeing, student learning and enhanced educational expectations and outcomes</li> <li>Leadership presence, strong emotional intelligence and self-efficacy to drive an educational environment where staff and students flourish</li> </ul> <p>Catholic Education Tasmania is committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them.&nbsp; The successful candidate will require satisfactory child safety checks and registrations.</p> <p>We demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.</p> <p><strong>Applications Close:&nbsp; Monday 2 March 2020 at 3:00pm</strong></p> <p><strong>Apply Now</strong></p><br><br><p><img src="" alt="Download File">&nbsp;<a href="">Applicant Information Pack</a></p>
