<p>Are you seeking a flexible, supportive and rewarding work environment?</p> <p>We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and innovative individuals who understand the nature and purpose of contemporary learning and teaching at our Catholic Out Of School Hours (COSHC) centres.</p> <p>Key accountabilities are:</p> <ul><li>&nbsp;Diploma or relevant qualifications in Outside School Hours Care, Children's Services, Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care or Certificate III in Children's Services&nbsp;</li><li>Experience and demonstrated skills in coordinating the provision of services for children aged 5 to 12 years</li><li>Skills in child care administration and operational systems&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in creating and maintaining an interactive and caring environment for children, teaching them through modelling and demonstration of appropriate activities</li><li>Strong commitment to the provision of quality child care in a genuinely caring environment</li><li>Adaptability and flexibility, including the preparedness and willingness to work at different COSHC/Vacation Care sites when required</li><li>Demonstrated effective communication, report writing, problem solving and organisational skills</li><li>Understanding of community development issues and processes and the issues related to disadvantaged families, including Aboriginal families and families of a non-English speaking background</li><li>Current First Aid Certificate and Class C Driver Licence</li><li>Support of Catholic ethos</li></ul> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p>Catholic Education within the Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment in its primary and secondary schools and for early learning and out of school hours care centres in western Sydney.
