This position involves teaching STEM classes plus HSIE classes. Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney is a distinct advantage. This position would be suitable for an upper primary or secondary teacher.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>NESA Accreditation at Proficient or higher level</li><li>Registration, or eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Demonstrable and sustained success as a classroom teacher in either the upper primary or secondary context</li><li>Successful experience in improving student literacy</li><li>Ability and demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic with accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events </li><li>Experience in STEM</li></ul>
