As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Project Officer is responsible for assisting with the coordination and delivery CEDP projects and initiatives.

<p>Catholic Education within the Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment in its primary and secondary schools and for early learning and out of school hours care centres in western Sydney.</p> <p>We are seeking a qualified and experienced Information and Communications Technology professional, who can join the team at the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta to coordinate and facilitate various projects at our schools for a maximum term of 3years.</p> <p>You will be the main liaison&nbsp;point between the Development and Infrastructure Team, construction Project Managers and IT vendors for the provisioning of ICT and Learning Technologies for new school building and refurbishment projects.</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong><u>The successful applicant must have the following attributes:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficient understanding of building plans and infrastructure layouts to effectively work towards all IT installations</li> <li>Outstanding ability in the working of project deliverable documentations&nbsp;</li> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Information and Communications technology</li> <li>Qualification in Project Management would be an added advantage</li> <li>Sound understanding of onsite work health and safety</li> <li>Building relationships with key stakeholders</li> <li>Strong in coordination, planning and project site reporting</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>The Project Officer will accountable for:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparing project plans for approval, implementing project plans, maintaining project schedules and coordinating resources to meet agreed timelines for all technology deliverables</li> <li>Coordinating and communicating with CEDP and external stakeholders and vendors</li> <li>Identifying project risk and dependencies affecting project outcomes, deploying contingencies in close collaboration with the project lead</li> <li>Reporting on project progress, budget and resources to the schedule determined by the project lead</li> <li>Overseeing the phases of a project and participating where required, including business analysis, user acceptance testing and documenting change requests</li> <li>Independently managing small projects end to end as delegated by Service Area leadership</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>What's in it for you:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Parramatta Location | work close to home</li> <li>Parking available and close to public transport&nbsp;</li> <li>Leave loading and salary packaging available</li> <li>Enjoy variety and purpose in your role as part of a warm and passionate team</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Further information can be found below:</strong></span></p> <p><img src="https://az29734.vo.msecnd.net/static/people/icons/icon_file_small.gif" alt="Download File">&nbsp;<a href="https://secure.dc2.pageuppeople.com/apply/TransferRichTextFile.ashx?sData=UFUtVjMt7rqMo0OYS4DN2VgWPmCGhPwTDzZxYgRHyKOQUY4KieHqXZvaxotNenGXd4jej0njIfT7oKzUHyoBTeAhfR5YbvHeAgVJimPotHKoJ3PQtSPFat8WG0_P8OJErIPCEYXb019RqroAVzmTtSblD_RCpw%7e%7e">Position Description - Project Officer.pdf</a></p>
