The successful applicant will work closely with Stage One and Stage Two classroom teachers to support the language proficiency development of our EAL/D students. The role involves building the pedagogical capacity of teachers through in-class support to meet the needs of the EAL/D learner, collaborative planning informed by student data and networking with other EAL/D teachers across schools. This role is ideally suited to a highly skilled practitioner who has good interpersonal skills. Although the role is advertised as 0.8 there is flexibility around this. The position commences on 2 March 2020.
