<p><b>1.0 FTE - TEMPORARY, 12 MONTHS COMMENCING 30 March 2020</b><br /></p> <p> </p> <p>The successful applicant for this position will continue work on the implementation of a Whole School Literacy Strategy that uses EAL/D pedagogy as a platform for improving English language and literacy outcomes for students.</p> <p> Essential Criteria:</p> <p> Support for the mission of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic schools.</p><ul><li>An understanding of and commitment to the needs of EAL/D learners and qualifications in TESOL.</li><li>Demonstrated effectiveness as a teacher and leader in implementing a whole school approach to literacy and language development and an ability to lead teacher interpretation of data to inform practice and improve student outcomes.</li><li>An ability to work collaboratively and effectively with College Leadership Team members, Middle Leaders, staff and students.</li><li>Demonstrated evidence of leading teacher capacity building for authentic teaching and learning in literacy through evidence informed practice.</li><li>Experience in Stage 5 English desirable.<br /></li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Highly effective organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and manage workload and to use the Google platform for communication and planning.</li></ul> <p>  Applicants for this position are asked to ensure the following documentation is submitted by the due date:</p> <p> </p> <ul><li>A letter addressed to the Principal, outlining your suitability for the position.</li><li>A current Curriculum Vitae including experience, qualifications, academic transcripts, Working with Children check and at least three referees, including your current employer.</li></ul>
