Covenant Christian School (formerly Covenant College) was founded in 1991 and is a growing co-educational Christian day school with approximately 200 students from Preschool to Year 10, situated on 6.6 hectares in the southern Canberra suburb of Gordon.
The School seeks to implement a Biblically-integrated curriculum with a commitment to excellence in a thoroughly Christian world and life view.
Applicants should be committed Bible-believing Christians of the conservative evangelical and reformed persuasion, who are able to subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Applicants must be Australian citizens (or meet all Australian residency requirements), hold (or be able to readily obtain) an ACT Teacher Quality Institute registration card (where applicable) and satisfy ACT 'Working with Vulnerable People' legislation requirements.
Applications must be submitted on the School's Application form and be accompanied by:
i) (for teachers only) a concise statement of the applicant's educational philosophy (eg.1-2 pages); and
ii) (all applicants) a brief document that addresses each item listed in the Selection Criteria.
